| New York Metro Reptile Expo |
| April 23rd, 2006, hundreds of thousands of families braved the rain to attend one of the most popular events at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York. The New York Metro Reptile Expo! Along with numerous other vendors, Nature’s Corner Magazine’s Maria Maust attended the event. At the expo, vendors were selling many different types of reptiles, amphibians, and fish, both small and large. Many proud people were selling their own brightly colored chameleons, ball pythons, leopard geckos, red-eared slider turtles, and bearded dragons to become wonderful new family members to those attending. The reptile expo is run by Bruce Lowder from Animal Encounter, LLC, and takes place 4 to 5 times each year
