Glass Winged Butterfly!
Have you ever seen this? A friend of Natures Corner Magazine sent these pictures to me.. such beauty.
This is called a Glass Wing Butterfly, and is found mostly in South America.

A butterfly with transparent wings is quite rare.

Now aren't you glad I reposted?! I know I am. =)

I was sent pictures of the glass winged butterfly, by a friend, and when I changed my e-mail address, I lost all my postings. Was so glad to find these pictures, as I'm very intrigued by the Creators eye for absolute beauty. Thank you so much for the posting. lamargo petersen
